Hi, sure - will take a look at Cogent and write up my thoughts. On foreign telcos are there any you recommend? I'm more familiar with European ones given my background (English - live in states) but open to others.
I've had a brief look at tigo and looks interesting. The competitive set up in latin america is a little out my wheelhouse and looks like the key issue (Guatemala and Colombia key for tigo). Do you have any research or good resources you could point me to on the competitive environment? One thing I'm always nervous of with these emerging market type investments is how i get my money back (government type risk as well).
given your expertise, would be great to get thoughts\post on cogent and some of the dirt cheap foreign telecoms.

my personal experience has been with :
tigo (hold, 3 yrs)
tlk (sold, 4 yrs)
so am curious how you see those that i have closely followed.
currently bce also looks interesting, or anything accessible through the most basic of brokers you find interesting.

TLK and KT seem more interesting because they have much less (public, english) detailed coverage despite size.
tigo has had great coverage from bonhoeffer capital, and more recently alwaysinvert on substack. ticker at a high due to catalyst speculation.
also KT (hold, 4 yrs)
